Education Cubes Membership Giveaway

photoblocks1
My friend Jenn, came up with the concept of inserting learning printables into baby photo blocks to use as teaching tools in her homeschool. It worked so well and had so many possibilities that she opened up a new site called Education Cubes.
By joining the Education Cubes Members Only Site, you will have access to over 100 sets of insert cards for your Education Cubes, which means that the learning possibilities are endless!~ Education Cubes
catgame
We’ve used Education Cubes for many hands-on learning games. This is our Feed the Cat game. Print out and assemble the cat (download under the Letter C). Roll the Education cube. Whatever number is on top, that is how many cupcakes you must feed the cat. This was one activity that we did during our Letter Cc week. I’ve shared a few more ways we’ve used these photo blocks in our homeschool (just click the link.)
Fractions (Reduced)[7]
Education Cubes has printable inserts for all age levels and subject areas. You can also get many different ideas how to use these in your homeschool, preschool, or classroom by subscribing to the Education Cubes blog.

A membership to Education Cubes is only $12—which is a one-time fee! That’s a real deal for unlimited printables!  For my Birthday Bash, Jenn  said I can give away 2 memberships to Education Cubes!

We use lots of printables, probably too many, so I like things I can re-use. I think mostly we use worksheets or coloring sheets though.

I have just started homeschooling my 4 yr old and 2 1/2 yr. old and we LOVE lapbooking and file folders as well as printables! I even bought a larger, laser-jet printer on Amazon so that I could print several worksheets & 'sets' off. I'm also going to be homeschooling my 5 older boys next fall, so yep... I LOVE printing things off for them to do! :)Especially since I can laminate them with contact paper and reuse them!! These blocks look like A LOT of fun!

I'd love to win this! I use a lot more printables than I did before. When we lived in Costa Rica it was harder. I felt I wanted things to be more hands on. Now I have a great printer, a child who can read and write - we do a lot of MOntessori 3 part cards and tracing worksheets. I think both of my kids would love the education cubes because they like to throw and learn while playing.

We use a couple worksheets or coloring pages a week. If I can I try and reuse them by placing them in a plastic protector and having him circle, trace, write, etc on that. If it's a coloring sheet obviously I'll just let him color it and hang it on the fridge for Daddy to make a fuss over when he gets home.

I do use printables but try to make them less "worksheety" :) Sometimes I enlarge, cut, paste...just get creative to make it less boring and more fun! I have also learned by simply putting a printable in a sleeve, the interest level of the children is immediately increased! I plan to use both notebooking and lapbooking in my homeschool approach.
