Bubble Trouble--I Heart Faces Week 24
This week's topic for I Heart Faces is Let's Hear it for the Boys. I love this photo of my ds. If you look closely you can see tiny bubbles on his hand and his dirty fingernails! He was concentrating hard on not having the bubble pop when I snapped this photo of him. The older he is getting, the harder it is to take photos of him. He'd rather get a tooth pulled than smile at the camera--lol. I'm having to resort to using my zoom lens and snap when he isn't looking :)

what a cute blog you have! Love the layout. Great entry for this week too.
That is a really, really great entry. It's so manly and yet so innocent. I love it!!!
What a fun photo. I love it!
This is a great shot! Love his concentration and love your processing!
thank you for the sweet comment. my oldest also had crazy baby hair- it's so much fun! :) this picture is a great one. what a wonderful capture of the bubble mid-blow!!
awesome shot!
I love the deep color of his blue shirt and the green grass in the background. My oldest son is getting to where he doesn't want me to take his picture either. It does create a new sense of creativity-getting their picture taken- doesn't it? :)
I love this candid shot, its beautiful!
Dirt under the nails, soap bubbles on his hands...this is a great "boy" entry! :-)
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Blessings,
Amanda
What a GREAT shot!!!!! You should be so proud of that.
I noticed also that you homeschool. My husband and I are diving headfirst into homeschooling next year. We are both going back to school full time and we've been putting off bringing the kids home for a variety of reasons, but the flexibility homeschool offers will be the perfect thing for this year. I'm going to follow your blog to learn a thing or two.

What a handsome boy you have! I totally understand about kids not wanting the camera around. My boys run from my camera. One of these days, I'm going to splurge and buy the spy lens: http://photojojo.com/store/awesomeness/candid-photography-spy-lens#desc
That is, when I have $85 to spend, which won't be for awhile. :)
Wow, that is great! I hear you about not wanting to smile for the camera - my older son is usually the same way! Actually, my husband is not so easy to take a pic of either... Must be something on that Y chromosome that takes over after age 3 or so... :P
Thanks for stopping by my blog too!
Lovely looking blog and kids too. I am following you now from mbc. I hope you will check out my blog and follow me too.
