KB Teachers: Worksheets and Printables

KB Teachers has worksheets, activities, and printable pages for parents and teachers to print for their students. The site has materials suitable for preschool - middle school.  Some interesting features are:

Monthly webquests: These are worksheets that have links for students to follow in order to answer questions on the worksheet.

Alphabet worksheet generator: Allows you to customize alphabet tracing sheets.

Seasonal Activities:  Each month a collection of worksheets, printables, and webquests are posted.

What I Thought:

I love printables. We use many in our homeschool on a daily basis. We don't use many worksheets though, and this website was more worksheet oriented. I would like to see more printables such as mini-reader booklets, preschool printable file folder games etc. While looking at their arts and crafts printables, I was disappointed to find that the printables were only written instructions on how to create a craft---and most included no pictures. Patterns and photos are what I would expect from a paid site.

Another website feature is the Webquest. The webquest concept is good, but after trying a few, I found that some of the links were dead links. I also did not like that when you clicked on a link it did not open in a new browser (and it wouldn't let me right-click to open in a new browser.) Since you have to work from the worksheet to get all the links, remembering  to press the back arrow to go back was a little frustrating.

For me, this site did not fit my needs as a teacher. If you follow my blog, you know that I like to create my own printables. When I can't find what I want, I can usually make it. I know that others don't enjoy doing that, so this site could be just the resource they need. It does have a lot to offer, especially the math worksheets. Take advantage of the free 10-day trial to see what is available.
